InterMoor, an Acteon company, has been contracted by Shell Exploration & Production Company to replace the platform wires on the Auger TLP’s lateral mooring system in the Gulf of Mexico, announced InterMoor President Tom Fulton. The eight platform wires that will be replaced on the Auger TLP are composed of non-jacketed spiral-strand wire. Full text

Marathon Petroleum Norge AS, operator of production licence 340 BS, has completed drilling of wildcat well 24/9-10 S and appraisal well 24/9-10 A. The wells were drilled about 30 kilometres south of the production ship on the Alvheim field in the mid-North Sea. Full text

Statoil Petroleum AS, operator of production licence 488, has completed the drilling of wildcat well 7119/12-4. The well was drilled about 145 kilometres northwest of Hammerfest and about 40 kilometres south of the 7120/8-1 Askeladd gas deposit, which is part of the Snøhvit development. Full text

FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has signed a three-year frame agreement with ConocoPhillips Indonesia Inc. Ltd for the manufacture and supply of subsea production equipment. The contract includes an immediate $57 million call-off and is expected to result in approximately $96 million in total revenue to FMC Technologies if all of the subsea equipment included in the agreement is ordered.
