Success for Ageotec’s Rovs has led the company to break down the Eastern frontier seeking for new opportunities and business.
A partnership has been established in China between Ageotec and Seatech, promoted as one of our official Agent for the Chinese Market which did a great job in promoting our products and services
among Chinese Customers.
The first Observer Rov Sirio has been sold to the Chinese SOA (State Oceanic Administration) responsible for supervision and management of sea area in the People ‘s Republic of China as well as coastal environmental protection and regulation of islands, internal and neighboring sea, continental shelf, exclusive economic zones and other sea area under its jurisdiction.
The whole project was undertaken by a cross company work group of both Ageotec and Seatech which thoroughly tried to meet the customers demand, offering a highly customized product.
This underlines the increased activity in the Chinese Sub Marine field where Observer Rov Sirio will offer its unique features as compactness and easy handling, wide band for data transmission and communication, easy management, easy maintenance and high customization.
This important milestone also underlines Ageotec‘s strategy for continued market growth and technological innovation across its internationally successful range of ROVs.
Petroleum Geo-Services ASA ('PGS' or the Company) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Applied Geophysical Services, Inc. (AGS) for a price of USD 51 million, subject to certain adjustments for changes in working capital. PGS estimates an enterprise value for AGS of approximately USD 46 million. AGS is based in Houston, Texas and specializes in providing advanced depth imaging services. The transaction is expected to close during the course of this week.
Total announces the acquisition of a 40% interest in three exploration permits northeast of Ichthys on the Australian Browse Basin jointly with Inpex (60%, operator). These interests were held by ConocoPhillips. This acquisition is subject to the approval of the Australian authorities.
