Subsea Specialist Flexlife Opens New UK Base and Appoints Director

Flexlife, an oil & gas industry specialist in subsea project and integrity management, has opened a new base in Newcastle and plans to recruit 25 staff by the end of this year, rising to 50 within 18 months. DNV and COOEC sign strategic cooperation agreement

Under the agreement, DNV and COOEC will further extend the cooperation in offshore and onshore oil and gas related fields, especially in the areas of technology research and development in deepwater pipeline & riser technology, as well as drilling and production floater technology.

The agreement was signed by COOEC President Jiang Xizhao and DNV Vice President and Area Chair for Greater China Joerg Beiler.

“COOEC and DNV have a long-term relationship. We have cooperated on a number of projects in offshore and onshore oil and gas related areas. The signing of the agreement demonstrates that our cooperation has reached a new milestone,” Mr. Jiang Xizhao said, adding that “this strategic cooperation between COOEC and DNV will benefit all parties involved in the offshore and onshore oil and gas area, as well as the entire energy supply chain.”

Mr. Joerg Beiler said in his speech, “we are proud to sign the strategic cooperation agreement with COOEC. DNV and COOEC share the same values on quality, innovation, technology and competence. I believe the strategic cooperation between DNV and COOEC will benefit both companies’ operation, and will contribute to a fast and sustainable development of the Chinese offshore oil and gas industry.”
