Niche Products opens new Houston Offices

Niche Products today announced the opening of our new Houston offices at:  10810 Katy Freeway in Houston, TX.   All aspects of sales, technical support and supply chain management for both U.S. and Brazilian operations for the Pelagic range of BOP and Subsea Control Fluids will be handled from these offices.

Rowan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:RDC) announced today that it has entered into contracts with Keppel AmFELS, Inc. for the construction of four Super 116E class jack-ups. The rigs will be built at AmFELS' Brownsville, Texas shipyard, with delivery scheduled at approximately four-month intervals beginning in the second quarter of 2010.
