Wellstream International Ltd, a leading manufacturer and supplier of flexible pipe systems and solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry announces the award of a major offshore installation contract from OGX Petroleo e Gas (OGX). This follows on from an earlier award for the supply of flexible risers and flowlines, mid-water arches, umbilicals and other associated equipment and services in June. Full text

Energy consultancy Xodus Group has won an open tender for the Detailed Design of the Huntington Development, the largest oil and gas discovery in the UK Central North Sea for five years. The contract worth approximately £1 million is one of the largest subsea projects the Aberdeen-based consultancy has secured. It is expected to provide six months work for the Aberdeen and London branches of the 270-strong group. Full text

Aker Solutions, through its subsidiary in Malaysia - Aker Process Systems Asia Pacific (APSAP), has been awarded two subsea contracts from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PETRONAS Carigali). The first is a work order to supply subsea production system and services for the Kanowit field, while the second is a contract to deliver 5600 metres of subsea umbilicals that tie back the Kanowit subsea wells to the Kumang Cluster, Offshore Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has received a call-off order from Total Exploration & Production Angola for the manufacture and supply of additional subsea production equipment. The call-off is for one option included in an existing contract and has a value of approximately $36 million in revenue to FMC Technologies. Full text

Grenland Group has received a letter of intent from FMC Technologies to fabricate and deliver one manifold and foundation, as well as two protection structures. Technip has been awarded by Statoil ASA a contract, worth approximately EUR 23 million, for the development of the Snorre field in the Norwegian North Sea. The contract covers the welding and installation of a 9 kilometer-long rigid steel flowline to connect the Snorre A and B platforms. It also includes installation and tie-in of the flexible risers required to connect the flowline to the platforms. Full text
