Scana Industrier ASA has been awarded the contract to deliver semi-finish machined riser forgings to Shell Offshore Inc. through its subsidiary Scana Subsea AB. The high tensile forgings are intended for the Olympus platform riser systems which is located in the Gulf of Mexico and operated by Shell Offshore Inc. as part of the Mars field development program. Hitec Products has received multiple contracts to supply Electro-Hydraulic Control Systems to FMC Technologies.
The deliveries are high profile projects and very important for Hitec Products. One contract consists of a Production Hydraulic Power Unit located onshore that will control a long distance tie-back of subsea wells connected to a gas processing terminal. Full text
