Dockwise said it has signed a letter of intent with Vyborg Shipyard for the transportation and installation of two topside structures. The topside structures are part of the contract that Vyborg Shipyard signed with Gazflot (the operating company for Gazprom) for the construction of two semi-submersible production platforms that were designed to operate in arctic conditions. Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract with Jurong Shipyard Pte. Ltd in Singapore for delivery of a complete drilling system for an ultra deepwater drilling semi-submersible platform. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately USD 209 million.

StatoilHydro has awarded the contract for the fabrication and installation of structures and tie-in of the pipeline systems for the Gjøa project to Technip Norge AS. The fabrication work will start during the autumn of 2008. The extensive installation work will continue through the 2009 season. Full text
