Aberdeen-based Sartor Offshore Rescue Ltd has won work with a total value of £35million in the first two months of the year to provide emergency rescue and recovery services in the North Sea. Among several new contracts is one to supply TOTAL E&P UK Ltd with the Ocean Ness for up to 10 years, securing at least 30 jobs. Full text

Cargotec will deliver two large offshore cranes to Singapore-based Ezra Marine Service Pte Ltd in 2010 and beginning of 2011 respectively. The cranes will be fitted to a deepwater anchor-handling towing/supply vessel (AHTS) and to a self-propelled accommodation barge. Full text

NCS Survey, of Aberdeen, has been awarded a major survey contract by Saipem S.p.A. for pipelay support during the inshore phase of the Nord Stream Pipeline Project, two gas pipelines linking Russia with the European Union via the Baltic Sea.
