FMC said today that it received an award from StatoilHydro to supply subsea equipment for its Troll B gas injection project in the Norwegian North Sea. The contract is valued at approximately $38 million and includes two subsea trees and associated flow base systems, wellheads, tubing hangers and related control and communication systems. Full text

Transocean today said that its deepwater moored semisubmersible Transocean Marianas has been awarded a two-year contract by a subsidiary of Eni. The contract is scheduled to commence in December 2009 following completion of the rig's existing contract commitments in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

StatoilHydro has awarded Aker Solutions the contract to perform topside modifications for tie-in of the subsea M-template to the Norne FPSO, the Norne M project. The contract is a EPCI contract worth approximately NOK 50 million, scheduled for project completion November 2009. Full text

Roxar today said that it has signed an LOI for a four-year global software contract for the full suite of its reservoir modelling solution, IRAP RMST, with oil and gas giant, StatoilHydro. The contract is one of the largest ever contracts for Roxar's software division. Full text

Cameron has been awarded a contract worth approximately $100 million to supply subsea Xmas trees to Petrobras for use in their Campos Basin developments offshore Brazil. Cameron will provide 25 subsea Christmas trees under Petrobras’
standard design, with the installation to be supported by previously supplied standard tools and

Nord Stream is a twin natural gas pipeline that will link Vyborg, Russia and Greifswald, Germany across the Baltic Sea. Each line is approximately 1,220 kilometres long, with a transport capacity of some 27.5 bcm per annum. Overall capacity of about 55 bcm a year will be reached when both the lines are operational. Dockwise said it has signed a letter of intent with Vyborg Shipyard for the transportation and installation of two topside structures. The topside structures are part of the contract that Vyborg Shipyard signed with Gazflot (the operating company for Gazprom) for the construction of two semi-submersible production platforms that were designed to operate in arctic conditions.
