Today at OTC, Chevron's Randall Kubota said to subsea industry sources that a FEED study for the subsea development of Jack and St Malo ultra-deep discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico will start in the near future. StatoilHydro’s Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) of the Morvin field was approved today, Friday 25 April. This is the first PDO approved in the merged StatoilHydro. Santos Reindeer Project Offshore West Australia Sanctioned

Santos today announced the Final Investment Decision for the Reindeer Gas Project located offshore Western Australia. The Reindeer gas field was discovered in 1997 and is located in the Carnarvon Basin, offshore Western Australia within exploration permit WA-209-P. Front End Engineering and Design studies (FEED) for development of the Reindeer gas field were completed in Q4 2007. Full text
