StatoilHydro discover gas in the Barents Sea Ververis prospect

StatoilHydro has confirmed the existence of gas in the Ververis prospect in the Barents Sea, whereas an exploration well in the Stetind prospect in the Norwegian Sea turned out to be dry. This is the 13th discovery on the Norwegian continental shelf that StatoilHydro is involved in this year. Full text

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is pleased to announce the first gas discovery in exploratory block KG-DWN-2003/1 (KG-V-D3) of NELP-V. Eni discover more gas near Jasmine

Eni has made a gas and condensate discovery in the Central North Sea, offshore from the United Kingdom. The 30/6-7 exploration well has confirmed hydrocarbons in a location 1.8 miles (3 km) north east of the Jasmine discovery well 30/6-6. The Jasmine field is at a water depth of around 266 feet (81 m), encompassing parts of blocks 30/6 and 30/7a. Full text
