Grenland Group to expand in Bergen

Grenland Group opens new offices in Bergen. Simultaneously with the company opening offices in the Millennium building near Bergen Airport Flesland, Grenland Group has also signed a letter of intent for the take-over of the established Bergen company, CIC Engineering AS.
- Our investment in Bergen is the result of our work focused on becoming a competitive supplier of maintenance and modification work on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. We are already well established on the west coast of Norway, in Stavanger and Skudeneshavn, and with this investment in Bergen we will strengthen our presence close to our customers' operational and project organizations, says Hallgeir Skogen, CEO in Grenland Group.
CIC Engineering, founded in 1989, provides project management and engineering and installation services for electrical and automation disciplines in the oil and gas industry. The company has 23 employees and will have offices in the Millenium building in Bergen. CIC Engineering will become part of the business area Grenland Group Offshore Partner.
The parties have agreed not to inform about the take-over price. The transaction requires due diligence and board approval from both companies.
