Petroleum production on the Norwegian continental shelf decreases

2007.11.15 - Industry

The average daily production was about 2 133 000 barrels of oil, about 220 000 barrels of NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) and about 57 000 barrels of condensate, in total of 2 411 000 barrels liquid.

 

During the month of September 18.1 million standard cubic metres of oil equivalents (Sm3 o.e.) were produced. This is 0.4 million Sm3 o.e. lower than during September 2006.

So far this year the average daily production has been just above 2.2 million barrels of oil. The total production is about 174.3 million Sm3 o.e. This is 10.7 million Sm3 o.e. less than in the same period last year.

Preliminary production figures show an average daily production of about 2.247 million barrels of oil and 0.355 million barrels of NGL and condensate for October 2007. Final figures will be available in the beginning of December 2007.
