Eni and Sonangol E.P. made a new oil discovery in the deep waters of Block 15/06 offshore Angola. The discovery well Ngoma-1, located about 350 Km from Luanda, was drilled in 1,421 meters of water to a total vertical depth of 3,383 metres, encountering an oil column of 127 meters in high permeability Miocene sands. Clough win Oceaneering work using Normand Clipper subsea construction vessel for pipeline repairs

Clough Limited (ASX:CLO) today announced that it had secured a further US$15 million work for its vessel, Normand Clipper in the Gulf of Mexico for two clients, Apache Corporation and Oceaneering International. Clough has secured agreements with Oceaneering International for provision of the Normand Clipper in the role of subsea construction vessel for pipeline repairs for Shell Oil and Taylor Energy.
