NCA has successfully completed a subsea wellhead recovery operation at 265 meter water depth in the Northern North Sea. The cutting and recovery operation, which included a net guard and the subsea wellhead, was performed from the subsea contruction vessel Olympic Zeus and marks a new world record for water depth with the Internal Multistring Cutting Tool (IMCT) Full text
Aker Solutions is today officially opening a new subsea facility at its yard in Egersund, west Norway. The new subsea hall will add another capacity to the yard and help further develop Aker Solutions' leading position within subsea processing technologies.

Technip and Schlumberger announced today the signing of a global cooperation agreement to jointly develop subsea integrity and surveillance solutions for flexible pipes used in deep offshore oil and gas production.
