FMC Technologies Receives Contract to Support Marulk Field DevelopmentFMC Technologies, Inc. announced today that it has signed an agreement with Statoil ASA for the manufacture and supply of subsea production equipment to support the Marulk field. Technip awarded first Goliat EPCI subsea contract
Technip has been awarded by Eni Norge AS an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract, worth approximately EUR 200 million, for the Goliat field development. Goliat will be the first Norwegian oil producing field north of the Arctic Circle in the Barents Sea. Full text

Temporary production solution at Siri
On 31 August 2009, following a routine inspection revealing cracks in a subsea structure connected to the oil storage tank underneath the Siri platform, DONG Energy decided to stop production from the Siri field. As the licence operator, DONG Energy has now developed a temporary solution designed to support the caisson to prevent any further damage. Full text

Cameron has entered into a frame agreement with Petrobras, expected to be worth approximately $500 million, for the supply of subsea trees and related running tools to Petrobras for use in their developments offshore Brazil. Full text

FMC Technologies announced today its intent to acquire Multi Phase Meters AS (MPM). Based in Stavanger, Norway, MPM is a global leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance multiphase flow meters for the oil and gas industry.
