Chevron Corporation, through an Australian subsidiary, today announced further exploration drilling success in the Greater Gorgon Area in the Carnarvon Basin offshore Western Australia. Cameron has received an order worth in excess of $230 million for the supply of subsea production systems for Stage I of Chevron’s Jack & St. Malo subsea development in the Gulf of Mexico. NCA has successfully completed a subsea wellhead recovery operation at 265 meter water depth in the Northern North Sea. The cutting and recovery operation, which included a net guard and the subsea wellhead, was performed from the subsea contruction vessel Olympic Zeus and marks a new world record for water depth with the Internal Multistring Cutting Tool (IMCT) Full text
