Subsea Aquatheatre - A Spectacular Showcase for Subsea Technology

Subsea UK commissioned the build of a large-scale, portable aquarium for highlighting subsea technologies and brought it to the city of Aberdeen for its debut. With support funding from its members, Subsea UK showcased the aptly named “Subsea Aquatheatre” at the ‘Energise your Future’ event in Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre on the 26th June.

OceanWorks awarded contract for Pangeo Subsea

Oceanworks has been awarded a contract by PanGeo Subsea Inc. to design and build their first Acoustic Corer. This subsea tool, the first in a suite of 3D sub-seabed imaging products, will produce a high resolution sub-seabed image that can be used to detect and locate geohazards such as large boulders or buried pipelines. FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has received the award to supply deepwater subsea processing and production systems to Total Exploration & Production Angola.
