FMC Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FTI) announced today that it has received the award to supply deepwater subsea processing and production systems to Total Exploration & Production Angola. Heerema Vlissingen, one of the three construction yards of Heerema Fabrication Group (HFG) in Zwijndrecht, has delivered the giant template for the Tombua Landana platform. The template and the piles, the longest ever built, have been loaded from the construction quay in Vlissingen on a seagoing barge for transport to Angola, West Africa. Full text
