FMC Technologies announced today that it will support the Jubilee Integrated Project Team (IPT) – consisting of Kosmos Energy (technical operator), Anadarko Petroleum and Tullow Oil & Gas (unit operator) - with the design and manufacture of subsea production systems for use in the Jubilee deepwater development. The award is expected to result in $210 million in revenue to FMC Technologies. Full text

GE Oil & Gas announced today that its drilling & production business has been awarded a three-year frame agreement valued at more than $250 million to supply 250 VetcoGray subsea wellhead systems to Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) of Brazil, an integrated oil and gas company. In terms of number of wellheads, this is the largest contract awarded to date in the industry. Full text

Aker Solutions is expanding its subsea and subsurface service offering in Australia by establishing its geo business in the country. Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract with StatoilHydro to provide mechanical wireline services on StatoilHydro operated fields and mobile drilling units on the Norwegian continental shelf. OHM Limited is to conduct a CSEM survey in the UK sector of the North Sea that represents the first full commercial use of OHM’s WISE technology. WISE (Well Integration with Seismic and Electromagnetics) uses available seismic and well data to underpin CSEM survey design enabling CSEM technology to be successfully applied in technically challenging areas. Talisman Energy Norge AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Talisman Energy Inc. (TSX:TLM) (NYSE:TLM), has made a promising oil discovery in the 15/12-21 exploration well drilled on the Grevling Prospect in the North Sea. The Grevling well is located about 215 kilometres off the west coast of Norway in PL038, Block 15/12, on the eastern flank of the Central Graben. Full text

Eni Norge is applying for concession to enable the construction and operation of an electric cable link between mainland Norway and the production facility installed on the Goliat field in the Barents Sea, with associated new electrical substation and distribution grid upgrades on land.
