SubseaDesign is a privately held engineering, design and fabrication company providing equipment and services for the oil and gas industry. Main focus areas are drilling and subsea related activities.  The company is based in Drammen, Norway.

The company has since the start in 2007 established itself in a marked for delivery of advanced engineering services and equipment for subsea, intervention, riser and drilling products. The company has grown fast from its three founders in the early start to a current staff of 15 skilled engineers and designers and with an annual turnover of 15 Mill NOK.

SubseaDesign provides engineered and fabricated services such as:

  • Manifolds, skids and pipeline related products
  • Pipeline and flowline jumpers
  • Protection structures, overtrawlable and non-overtrawlable
  • Pig launchers and receivers
  • Subsea Umbilical Termination Units
  • Small and large structures and piping modules
  • Connection systems and connection system tooling
  • MQC plates / hydraulic coupling systems, subsea and in turrets
  • Spider and Gimbal design
  • ROV tooling
  • Marine/drilling riser components

 


 

SubseaDesign provide services such as products and total systems expertise, management and administration. The deliverables also include materials engineering, reviews, verifications, follow-up and consultancy services in addition to R&D – work within subsea related business and life time extension services.

Management and engineering is performed in-house while all fabrication activities are subcontracted.

Main clients are FMC Technologies, Aker Solutions, StatoilHydro, Shell
