Total E&P Congo announces today that the deep offshore Moho-Bilondo field has been brought on stream in the Republic of the Congo, nearly a month ahead of schedule. Eni has started the development of the Longhorn gas field, located in the Gulf of Mexico (blocks MC 502 and 546) approximately 195 kilometres southeast of New Orleans in 730 meters (2,400 feet) of water depth. Major contracts for subsea equipment supply have been awarded and manufacturing is underway. Full text

Deep Marine Technology, Inc. annunces that the 205ft, 4 point dive vessel, the Ocean Pioneer, is headed to work for Capital Signal in Trinidad. Working in water depths from 0-3,000fsw, the Ocean Pioneer will be perfroming primarily survey work. Full text
Production from Gamma Main Statfjord on the Oseberg field in the North Sea has now commenced, only eighteen months after the oil deposit was proven. The deposit in the Gamma Main structure in the Statfjord formation is one of several small-size discoveries to be put on stream in the Oseberg area in 2008 and 2009. Full text
The Transocean Arctic arrived on the Tyrihans field at Haltenbanken in the Norwegian Sea on 14 April for production drilling. The Tyrihans development involves extensive use of multilateral wells and smart wells with downhole regulation and control equipment. Full text
EOC Limited announced that Emas Offshore Construction and Production Pte Ltd (`EOCP`) has successfully executed the offshore installation contract to install subsea facilities and floating production mooring system in the Galoc Field located 65 km north-west of Palawan Island in the Philippines. Deep Down, Inc. announced today that it has shipped $1.5 million worth of products for the Phoenix project, including six next generation Loose-tube Steel Flying Leads (LSFLs). Deep Down also delivered four Electrical Hydraulic Compliant Moray(TM) Umbilical Termination Heads, which were terminated to the end of steel tube umbilicals. Full text
Galoc Production Company has completed the installation of subsea equipment, and mooring and riser systems for the field, joint venture member Nido Petroleum said. Galoc is the operator of the Galoc oilfield off the Philippines. Full text
The three well drilling program has been completed and the production of oil has started from one of the wells at the El Bibane field offshore Tunisia. The oil- and gas group PA Resources owns a 25 percent working interest in the field. Full text
