Delitek install custom-made waste handling compactors on offshore rigs
After a thorough process with development of custom-made compactor models for the offshore industry, DT-500MKII & DT-1500MKII offshore versions, we can report of successful installations on "Transocean Winner and "Oseberg Øst offshore rigs.
The system with direct compaction in to "Big bags simplifies the waste handling, is space saving onboard and contributes to better logistics between rig and waste disposal site.
Mr. Eirl Marholm of Norsk Hydro ASA/Mongstadbase AS has been central in the development process of our offshore versions. Delitek AS and Norsk Hydro ASA have through mutual teamwork and product design developed offshore versions, which adopts to the guidelines given in OLF-93 as well as having the users (crew) of the system in focus.
A direct consequence of Mr Marholm’s participating in the development process is that we can present offshore versions of our products DT-500MKII and DT-1500MKII.
Installation and testing of the units as well as the coordination and manufacturing of the bumper and shelter for the environmental station on "Oseberg Øst", is done by our collaborating partner ALTINEX Harstad.
