Reliance commenced production of gas from the Dhirubhai 1 and 3 discoveries of the KG-D6 block in the Krishna Godavari Basin, located off the East Coast of India, in the Bay of Bengal. Subsequent to its delivery by the Drydock World shipyard in Singapore, the Jascon 25 arrived in NW Australia two weeks ago. Talisman has commenced oil production from the Northern Fields development on schedule. The development is located in the PM-3 commercial arrangement area offshore Malaysia and Vietnam. First Gas from StatoilHydro's Alve Field

The Alve gas and condensate field in the Norwegian Sea started production yesterday afternoon, 19 March. Alve is developed as a subsea satellite field tied back to the Norne field's production vessel. Alve lies in production licence 159B, about 16 kilometres south-west of Norne. The field embraces the Garn, Not, Ile and Tilje formations. The proven reserves lie in Garn and Not. Full text
